Services are available to clients who need non-medical support at home or in an approved service location. SunBorn reserves the right to determine whether a requested service is appropriate, safe, and within the company’s non-medical scope of care.
SunBorn may refuse, pause, or discontinue service if the care need is outside the company’s scope, unsafe for staff, medically inappropriate, or not properly authorized.

Submitting a service request, booking form, or consultation form does not guarantee immediate service.

6. Client and Family Responsibilities
Clients, family members, or responsible parties agree to:

SunBorn may delay or discontinue service if the home environment is unsafe or if staff are treated inappropriately.
7. Scheduling and Availability
Service schedules are based on caregiver availability and approved care plans. Requested days and times are not guaranteed until confirmed by SunBorn.

SunBorn will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of schedule changes as soon as possible.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

24 hours’ notice
to cancel or reschedule a visit.
Late cancellations, no-shows, or cancellations after a caregiver arrives may result in a minimum service charge.
Completed services are non-refundable.
Eligible unused prepaid hours may be credited, rescheduled, or refunded only when cancellation requirements are met and approved by SunBorn Homecare Service.
9. Payments and Billing
Clients or responsible parties agree to pay all fees for services requested, scheduled, or provided.

11. Refunds
SunBorn does not refund completed care hours or services already provided.
Refunds may be considered for:

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider or bank.
12. Transportation and Errands

SunBorn caregivers may not be responsible for purchasing items with personal funds unless approved in writing.
13. Medication Reminders

Medication reminder services may include reminding the client to take medication according to instructions already provided by the client, family, or authorized representative.
SunBorn does not prescribe medication, change medication instructions, administer medication, or provide medical advice unless legally authorized.

SunBorn respects client privacy and protects personal and care-related information.

16. Caregiver Assignment
SunBorn will make reasonable efforts to assign caregivers based on availability, client needs, skills, schedule, and compatibility.
Clients may request caregiver changes, but specific caregivers are not guaranteed.
SunBorn may replace or reassign caregivers when needed.
17. Safety and Conduct
SunBorn is committed to a respectful and safe environment for clients, families, caregivers, and staff.
SunBorn may refuse or discontinue service due to:

Harassment or abusive behavior

Weapons or dangerous items accessible during service

Aggressive pets

Illegal activity

Non-payment

Repeated late cancellations

18. Emergency Situations
SunBorn Homecare Service is not an emergency medical provider.
If a caregiver observes an emergency, the caregiver may call 911, notify the emergency contact, and report the incident to SunBorn management.
Clients and families should not use website forms, email, or regular phone messages for medical emergencies.
19. Limitation of Liability
SunBorn will make reasonable efforts to provide dependable, compassionate, and professional non-medical care.
However, SunBorn is not responsible for:
